All Barnes BookFest venues have disabled access, please contact bookfest@barnesbookshop.com to reserve a place. All venues are within 5-10 minutes easy walking distance from each other.

 

There are lots of local cafes, bakeries and restaurants in the area open for refreshments and food.

TRANSPORT LINKS

There are easy train and bus links to Barnes.  Barnes Station and Barnes Bridge Station are approximately a 15 minute walk or a short bus journey to/from the centre of Barnes village and close to all BookFest venues.  Both train stations are served by buses: Barnes Station is on bus routes 33 and 419 / Barnes Bridge Station is on bus routes 209 and 419. 

 

Bus stops close to Barnes BookFest venues are Barnes / Red Lion, Church Road, Barnes Pond, Glebe Road.

Please note Hammersmith Bridge is closed to all vehicles but open to pedestrians and cyclists.

 

PARKING

There is meter parking on the High Street, Church Road and by Barnes Pond but this can be busy.  There is some free evening and weekend parking on side roads but please check the time plates and parking restrictions on the street before you park.
