The Barnes BookFest is initiated and organised by the Friends of St Mary’s Barnes and Magic Productions, with The Barnes Bookshop.

 

The event brings bestselling writers and exciting new authors to Barnes to talk about a range of subjects, giving an insight into the way they work and the subjects that fascinate them.

 

The inaugural festival in 2021 was an incredible weekend of talks and screenings, with three days of sell-out literary events. BookFest is supported by the Barnes Community Association (BCA), Barnes Literary Society and Screen My Story.
